Microsoft to appeal European Commission

The 27th of february European Court ordered Microsoft to pay a record amount of $1.3 billions for non conformity to the anti-trust decisions.

It was the fisrt time in 50 years that a sanction was taken by this commission to restore the competition balance!

Microsoft has announced friday that it will appeal from this decision on the european first instance court.

A court spokesperson said that he had a total confidence in the legal conformity of the sanction, decided at the end of february.
